Outcome:
COIN CREATION is a monthly publication which will be found around Melbourne. For the purpose of the assignment I put together a 10th annual so that I could work with more material and test my layout, grid structure, master pages, paper stocks and paragraph styles. It contains four sections:
INTERVIEW Documenting Melbourne creatives, their thoughts and creations.
PERVERT Looking inside the homes of people living in Melbourne, objects and spaces you never have the chance to see behind the doors of strangers.
STREET What people are wearing, where they are going, what they are seeing, drinking, eating, touching and anything else captured on camera.
CANVAS A sketchbook section at the back of every issure encouraging readers to documents their thoughts and coin their own creations. The COIN CREATION community will be
encouraged to upload scans and photos of their pages each month
resulting in a creative forum.
References: I researched many magazines and publications as well as recording all interviews and photographing all images myself.
